PROTA has offices in 10 countries in Africa and Europe. The two major coordinating offices are located in Nairobi (Kenya) and Wageningen (the Netherlands). The PROTA Network Office Africa is hosted at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), and the Network Office Europe at Wageningen University.

The Network Office Africa coordinates 6 Regional Offices in Uganda (East Africa), Malawi (Southern Africa), Madagascar (Indian Ocean Islands), Gabon (Central Africa), Burkina Faso (Francophone West Africa) and Ghana (Anglophone West Africa). Initially focusing on the country of domicile, the Regional Offices will gradually spread out their wings to neighbouring countries by means of national Contact Persons.

The Network Office Europe coordinates 2 Country Offices in France and England. The eleventh partner is the PROSEA Foundation in Indonesia.
